About Me

I am a retired teacher of sports, science, wellbeing and all primary subjects. I was teaching for 14 years and would consider myself to have an extremely strong skill set of working with children from all walks of life and with their own unique characters, ensuring the care provided is tailored to support each individual.

My philosophy within teaching has always been to ensure that each child is able to nurture their personality and flourish through this. Manners, respect and kindness are key attributes I hope install within children and encourage them to understand the importance of perseverance.

As a sporting and wellbeing enthusiast I endeavour to keep on top of innovative and creative ways to stay healthy both physically and mentally, and believe that as a childrcare professional I am able to utilise this passion in order to encourage these traits within children and young people I work with.

In my spare time I am normally participating in sporting events, reading, painting or throwing myself into outdoor activities, I am a sociable, fun loving character who would consider myself a big sister character, dependable, reliable and trustworthy.

As a tutor I aim to learn through play for younger years and use innovative and confidence boosting teaching techniques for teenage years. I aim to ensure that learning is as fun, enjoyable and productive as possible to ensure longevity and consistency.
