About Me
Hi, my name is Emily Mullen and I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I have gained lots of experience over the years being a mum and step mum to four amazing children who are now 17, 14 14, and 11 and feel I can provide excellent childcare in a home from home environment. I am reliable, caring, kind, trustworthy, and fun to be around, giving you peace of mind that your child will be happy, safe, and secure in my care.
I will follow the EYFS curriculum and will get to know each individual child and plan my resources and activities around your child's interest and their learning development.
As well as playing with toys in my home and outside play in my secure garden, I am a member of the National Trust and I will go on regular outings, tots groups, woodland walks, picnics and many more places for your child to explore.
Building a trusting and happy relationship with families is very important, and i encourage good communication. I will keep in touch throughout the day, letting you know what fun your child is having. Seeing the children smile and laugh will mean a lot to me.
My Experience
I have gained a lot of experience over the last 16 years, looking after my own children and nephew's and niece's. I have worked hard to become an Ofsted registered childminder and look forward to continuing and training to provide happy, safe and quality childcare.

Emily is a wonderful childminder and we are so thrilled that we found her!
She is brilliant with all 3 of our kids, who range from 18months-6years old, and they all love her and her home.
Emily provides a really loving and nurturing environment and is so interested in the children and their well-being. It's so reassuring to know that when the children aren't with us they are in such safe hands!
100% recommend Emily to anyone looking for a childminder!

My little girl has been with Emily for a year and a half now and she has been absolutely amazing from the start. She did everything to make sure she felt comfortable from the outset, she has bonded great with my little girl she loves her days with Emily. She puts everything into what she does to work with the children and teach them everything they would at a nursery. I am so happy to have found Emily and would 1000% recommend her to anyone. She’s a warm and kind person and she always goes the extra mile to help with anything you need.

As a new mum it is always hard to leave your baby but Emily makes it so easy for me. She is absolutely amazing with children and my 11 month old loves spending time with her. Her home and family are very welcoming and are also amazing with Freddie. Emily will send me pics throughout the day and it is great to see him smiling so much and also puts my mind at ease knowing my son is in safe hands. Emily is not only my sons childminder but also a lovely friend with a big heart ❤️

My 2 daughters joined Emily a little over a month ago. Emily has welcomed them with care and nurturing, every day. She has a very warm & kind-hearted nature, which as a mother, has assured me without equivocation when leaving them in her care. Each day they get excited to spend time with her on the way & come home in great spirits telling me of the fun they’ve had with her. I’ve never once fretted about leaving them as I’m so well assured. Emily sends me pictures throughout the day of the fun they have together, which I love seeing. She has excellent communication skills and always goes above and beyond, thinking ahead and planning. A very well organised, trustworthy person & meticulously clean household. I also want to point out that not only Emily but the whole family are wonderful with my children. Emily is now a part of our family and my girls will be with her for the future. I can’t thank her enough for everything she has done & the amount of work and patience she has and does. I feel very blessed to have found such an amazing person to care for my children. ❤️ We love you Emily

Emily is a very warm and friendly individual. She made extra effort to accommodate our child and made him feel very comfortable from the outset. Emily puts lots of effort into her role as a childminder and is willing to go the extra mile. Emily's experience and compassion make her an ideal candidate to look after children. We are so happy to have found Emily and will be using her services for the long term.
