Hello! I’m Rosie, I have a degree in Primary Teaching and I worked as a Reception Teacher for three years. Last year I went travelling abroad which has given me a rich experience of different cultures. Currently, I am teaching pre-school in a nursery, I have accepted a job teaching reception in a new school starting in September so I am available until then. I speak some French (not fluent unfortunately!) and I am passionate about teaching through play and learning outdoors. I am a reliable, friendly and professional individual. In my spare time I enjoy going on walks, baking and arts and crafts. I enjoy cooking and I love animals. I am paediatric first aid trained.
My Experience
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with a specialism in Early Years. I have previous experience working with children from Nursery to Year 6. I have worked across East Sussex in many schools, nurseries and as a babysitter. I have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Autism. I was the Early Years Phonics lead and taught the 'Read Write Inc.' curriculum but also have experience in teaching Jolly phonics. I have also been trained in teaching Mathematics Mastery. I have experience working with children with Speech and Language needs and I am Epipen trained.
