About Me
I'm the eldest son in a family with seven siblings. An experienced father of two. Isabella, who is now a scientist with a master's degree in Oceanography. Pedro, who is studying law at university. Both are excellent students, sporty, very literate in a vast human knowledge, and brought up within Christian moral values that are the basis for the constitution of our society. As an education specialist, my mission is to help parents raise their children to become people who will fulfil their relevant roles in society — personally and academically. Also, due to life's setbacks, I ended up divorced and therefore understand very well the process of raising and maturing children, how many of the family situations of separation become an additional challenge in the development of younger children.
My Experience
Although I have a postgraduate degree in Modern Education, with techniques and methodologies geared towards student learning, I also have a bachelor's degree in Counselling and Health and a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming (which qualifies me to do coaching). In this sense, in addition to academic learning itself, I always try to see the human being and the processes of growth/learning, which may be hindering this, as a whole process, in an integral and holistic way in the search for and understanding of the best result in the medium and long term. In addition, I have a bachelor's degree in Theological Studies, in which philosophy, cultures and belief systems are values that can often help young people find themselves in the world, existentially. As Viktor Frankl attests to, the importance of finding meaning in life.
Academic areas I can help with: biology, geography, maths, history, politics, sociology, humanities, philosophy, theology/religion, Languages: Spanish, Portuguese, English (depending on the level). In addition, I can help with counselling and coaching, with any question about learning, or even about undesirable behaviour.
