About Me

Hello! My name is Becky, I'm 32 and i set up Bierton Bunnies Childminding Services in September 2023.
I grew up in Berkhamsted and moved to Bierton seven years ago with my daughter who is now nine years old. It is just the two of us at home with our cute cat, Roo.
It was during lockdown in 2020 that I realised my true passion lay with being around children. I love being around children's enthusiasm and love for learning and trying new experiences. I absolutely loved having my daughter at home and thinking up new activities we could do together. From arts and crafts to creating a home for ladybirds and watching them go through their life cycle and similarly hatching butterflies from caterpillars, as well as other activities that include baking and nature walks.
I am located on a field with no roads. The children are able to play on their scooters or bikes, play with the prams and dolls, they can kick around a football. We also have children living at either side of the house so more often than not, they also join in and the children absolutely love it! It a joy to watch them play.
My promise is to provide high quality childcare in a home from home setting. We are very lucky to live in a house that is situated on a large field with more fields behind it, meaning lots of nature walks without being too far from home. We also have a local park, 1 minute walk from us without any roads to cross. It has been a brilliant place to raise my own daughter and I hope to continue to make more fabulous memories with my minded children. I also have a small, enclosed garden so lots of opportunities to get outside. I'm also a zoo member so lots of trips to whipsnade.
I would describe myself as very reliable, enthusiastic, friendly and caring. The aims of my setting are to ensure all the children are listened to and are happy. I understand it can be very daunting to find someone to trust with your children but I would love it if you came and met me, view my setting and hopefully come and start with me!
