About Me
Hello, my name is Karolina.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I live in Northolt, in Grand Union Village with my husband and 2 daughters. We have cats in the flat but our pets are only indoor pets and they never go outside. I live in 2 bedroom flat and use living room and bedroom as play rooms and I use the garden for children to enjoy outdoor activities.
I’m very warm, loving, responsible and trustworthy person. Working at the nursery and being a mother of 2 daughters added to my experience.
I love working with children and helping them learn and thrive while they are spending the time in clean and healthy environment. My setting is well equipped for children of different ages providing a great place for them to develop in all 7 areas of EYFS. There are many toys and resources to promote children's development and independence.
I visit local playgrounds so that children can develop physically and socially. I am planning to attend local playgroups with children. Parents will be updated regularly on their children's development with daily diaries, pictures and progress reports 3 times a year.
I am planning to take a registered assistant on board by the end of September.
I don't provide meals for children and parents need to provide the meals daily.
Travel to my address is quite easy, the closest busses are E6, E9, E7, 282, 140 and the bus stops are 5-8mins away from my flat.

My Experience
10 years of experience in childcare.
(2003-2008)
I worked for 5 years in Junior High School abroad, teaching English language to children aged 13-15.
(2008-2019)
When I moved to London I started working at Snowflakes Day Nursery and Montessori in 2008 as a Nursery Nurse, in 2009 I became a Deputy Room Leader and in 2011 I became a Room Leader.
During those years I worked with different age groups (6 months old till 5 years old).
I followed Early Years Statutory Framework and used it daily to plan for children development.
My main duties were managing 6 childcare assistants, following Ofsted guidelines, following daily routine, organizing different tasks and projects, teaching children, creating a stimulating and attractive environment, planning for children development and writing observations and liasing with parents and working in partnership with them, etc.
(2019-up to now)
I have been teaching Polish Language and elements of Polish History and Culture to children aged 5-11 at Polska Szkola im. Jana Kochanowskiego Londyn - Northolt.

- Bachelor Degree in English Philology and English Language at Foreign Languages Teacher-Training College (2000-2003) - NARIC compared it to BTEC/ SQA Higher National Diploma (HND) standard/ Foundation degree standard
- Qualified Teacher Status (General Teaching Council for England - 26/11/2008)
- Level 3 Diploma for the Childcare and Young People's Workforce

Karolina is a wonderful childminder. My son was 2.5 years old when he started going to Karolina. The beginning was hard because he credit for me but Karolina coped great. I can count on her when I needed to change something or give my son for extra days there was no problem. They went to the library, a lot of homework,games. He always came home happy. I highly recommend Karolina.

We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful care Karolina provided for our kids over the summer holidays. They always came home happy, full of stories about their fun activities and creative projects. Karolina made sure they were well looked after, keeping us updated throughout the day. We would highly recommend Karolina to anyone looking for a loving and dedicated childminder!

Karolina is amazing. My daughter was one year old when she started with her. From the beginning I was so happy with the way she was taking care of her. Se was so gentle and patient, when my daughter was confused and tried to sort out new situation. I was scared, but she said will be fine, and just month after was just perfect. Little one is so happy and excited when she just see the door from her house. I can also see huge progress in her development. That’s the person you can 100% count on, and trust her, which was so important for me. She has two daughters herself, so she is not only the childminder, she’s like a mother to kids she has under her care.
Karolina is also so professional, and well organised.

Our daughter loves going to Karolina. She literally can't wait to see her every morning. It is not easy to find someone you can trust and as parents, we often worry if the childminder will really take care of our children. Karolina took all the stress away from us as she is increadibly caring and warm person. No wonder kids love her.
