My Summary
About Me
I am a warm and passionate Childminder in Morden. I live with my husband and 2 children aged 6 and 3 in a lovely spacious house. I have a dedicated playroom with Montessori inspired educational toys. I also have an indoor climbing gym. I provide a home from home nurturing environment for children so they feel safe and confident to learn from the various developmental and educational activities I specifically plan for them. Furthermore, being in a smaller setting allows me to focus and give 1-1 attention to all the children I care for. I am therefore able to provide a tailored and well adapted environment for the emotional, physical and educational growth for each child.
Growing up in Germany, I went to a Forest School Kindergarten myself as a child, which has had its lasting positive effects on me in my adulthood. Thus I have formally trained in forest education, and enjoy taking the kids to the parks to carry out our forest school activities. At our setting we love reading books and love singing. We have a wonderful story and rhyme time session everyday in the morning. We carry out various other activities throughout the week related to the EYFS curriculum and adapt it according to the children’s interests and needs as they grow.
I live at a 6 minute walk from Morden underground station and have many bus links near me: 93, 163, 293, 413, 164 and many more near the station.
I provide homemade fresh food which includes a morning snack, lunch and dinner. With a background of being a dietitian, I prioritise good nutrition for the children I care for.
I also provide after school care for Poplar Primary school. Afterschool I provide a hot meal everyday for dinner and pudding. Breakfast/morning care are available on an Adhoc basis only. I provide breakfast options including a cooked breakfast at an extra charge.
My Experience
I have looked after children over a span of 14 years. I was also a youth leader for 1 year at my local community where I was a buddy and mentor for children, and organised various activities for 15-20 children on a regular basis followed by a monthly report. I have experience in tutoring in English and Biology.
I have also worked as a Dietitian in Gastroenterology and Paediatrics department in the hospital, with 4 years Clinical experience, until I had my own children. I have been passionate to work with children ever since, thus pursued a career in Childcare, as I believe well nurtured children will form a Happy and Peaceful society for the future.

I have been sending both my daughter and my son to Saba's childcare setting for a while now. I have been using her setting for morning sessions as well as for regular after school childcare. I feel very satisfied and safe about sending my children to this place. My kids absolutely love her place and always get upset when they can't go back to her home. Having tried different childcare settings in the past this one is my favourite for so many reasons. I am really thankful for the healthy, home cooked fresh meals she provides with so much love. I highly appreciate the daily routines and activities she organizes with so much dedication and passion. One of the best things about this childminder is that she will meet the individual needs of each child and provide excellent 1:1 care in a cosy home setting. Despite the different nature of both my children she has always won our hearts with her unique approach towards them. I am so glad l have found a childminder like Saba where my kids have settled so well - always looking forward to go back to her home.

We were interested in moving our son to the nursery at a primary school but concerned about lack of after school care for a 3 year old. We found Woodland Bunnies online, were impressed with the property and details of what our child should expect so decided to move our son to the school nursery, with Woodland Bunnies providing wraparound care. Our son is very happy to be picked up by Saba and taken to her house where he has dinner and plays with the other children. Saba is very easy to deal with and always lets us know at pick up what our son has been up to! I would recommend.

Our daughter absolutely loves her days with Saba, and is always excited and happy at drop off.
Saba's setting is fantastic, and we know our daughter is so well cared for, with plenty of varied activities & nutritious varied meals. Communication is also excellent.
We couldn't ask for better care for our daughter.

My daughter has attended Saba’s setting for after school care since September and she loves it! It is very clear that Saba is passionate about her role in childcare and ensuring that children have a well-rounded experience every day. After spending a day surrounded by lots of children and abiding by school rules, it’s great our daughter can go back to Saba’s, where she feels comfortable and ‘at home’. The food on offer is varied and nutritious (my daughter now eats curry at home, which is amazing!) and there is a great selection of toys and play equipment to keep our little one busy until pick up. Parents get a detailed run through of what their child has been up to, what they’ve eaten and any concerns that Saba may have regarding their health or behaviour. It’s so reassuring, as a parent, to have that level of care, even for a couple of hours. We’re so confident in Saba’s childcare abilities that we’ve put our son on her waiting list for next year!

My daughter has been going to Saba's setting since September for after-school care and has been absolutely loving it. Saba is warm and approachable and takes great care of the children in her setting. My daughter is very happy going there and always eats well. We have had bad experiences with childminders in the past and Saba has been so different to that and so reassurring when settling my daughter into her setting. My daughter does lots of fun activities such as cookie decorating and loves playing with the other children there. We feel very lucky to have found Saba!
