About Me
I am creative, hard working individual that has a wide experience working as an educator of children from nursery to secondary school level. Currently working as a Nursery practitioner in a preschool in Colchester 3 and half days a week. I enjoy be creative in my spare time as an artist and also when working with children. I feel I am organised, enthusiastic and enjoy helping children and in my spare time I enjoy eating healthy, exercising, music, going on adventures and seeing friends.
My Experience
I have a variety of different experience and I have been working with children since late 2018. I have worked in a primary school as a teaching assistant working with children with special educational needs. I worked with reception children and year 6 doing PPA cover art lessons. I then Au paired in northern Spain for 4 months working with 2 children. The boy was 6 and the girl was 9. I taught them english, made the snack, took them to the park, done homework with them and done arts and crafts. I then went to Italy for 3 months working as an Au pair and looking at after 2 girls they where 9 and 12 years old. The Au pair experience was in 2019, from January to August. I then worked as an activity leader at holiday camps. I have done a few Cover supervisor roles and working doing temp work in nurseries.
My Qualifications
I have a BA (Hons) in Fashion Textiles Print.
Level 1 and 2 Safeguarding qualification.
I also have prevention and FGM training.
I have a level 3 in early years childcare
My Availability
I work 08:30am to 16:15pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.
I work 08:30am to 12:30pm on Fridays.
If you let me know in advance I can available on the weekend. e.g Friday or Saturday evening.
I am available this coming October half term and December Christmas holidays.
