About Me
Little Rainbows Childcare
Hello everyone. My name is Anita and I am a Childminder on the Ise Lodge estate in Kettering. I live with my husband Jason and have 3 adult children who no longer live at home. I also have a beautiful granddaughter who I am lucky enough to look after for 2 days a week.
We have dog - a Labrador called Ruby. Sometimes my daughters Sprokerpoo called Albus comes to visit us too! We also have 2 cats called Winnie and Wilbur.
I have recently finished 25 years of teaching in local Primary Schools and am now loving my new adventure as. Childminder. My Rainbow Room has lots of interesting resources for the children to investigate and I also have an accessible garden for them to explore. We will also take regular walks and trips to the nearby parks and outdoor environments.
I had my first OFSTED inspection in February 2025 and was graded Outstanding with no advisories!
My Experience
I have taught in 2 local Primary Schools for 25 years and the last 16 years of this time was in Early Years as the Early Years Lead. So I am very experienced in supporting children to meet their full potential and encouraging them to learn through a play led curriculum.
My Qualifications
BEd with honours in Primary Education
Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Safeguarding Children - renewed annually
Teaching and Learning in the Early Years (Pedagogy)

My Availability
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Can offer school pick ups and drop offs to Millbrook Infant and Junior School.
