About Me
Cheerful and active nanny or experienced au-pair wanted for family with 3 school age children in Barnes.
We are looking for a nanny or experienced au pair (ideally live-in but would consider live out) to look after our three children (girl aged 16 and boys aged 13 and 7 years) in Barnes, South West London to start as soon as possible, but 1st Sept latest.
Our children are out-going and good-natured and we need someone who will be flexible, reliable and above all fun for them to be around. Our family is relaxed although busy, with two full time jobs and three different schools in the mix (our daughter is at boarding school in the term time). So we are looking for someone who will fit in to a full routine, someone who will make life interesting and educational for the children and above all someone who will provide continuity and a sense of fun and become part of the family.
My Requirements
As both parents work full time, the job will be sole charge requiring whoever joins us to be happy to work independently. During term time the job will involve taking our youngest son to and from school/ clubs, meals, bath time, organizing childrens’ kit, arranging playdates and helping with homework and light household activities (we have a cleaner). During the holidays there will be a mix of activities and play-dates. There will be generous (at least five weeks a year) leave, generally to be taken in school holidays.
We are looking for someone with fluent English, experience with children and a clean driving license and DBS check. For the sake of the children, we need someone who can commit to at least 18 months with us (we have had only 4 nannies in 15 years).
Ideally we are looking for someone to be live-in – you would have your own double bedroom (with wifi and cable TV) and bathroom, although we would also consider somebody who lives locally to Barnes and wants to live out.
