About Me
I have had the joy of working in a primary school, and up until July last year my employment and contract in the school came to an end at the beginning of the summer holidays (end of the school year). I recently had my baby girl who was born in March 2024. I would very much love to work with children again on a one-to-one basis, bringing my baby along for an informal though professional feel, providing baby-sitting care. I understand this will be unorthodox for most people, but it may be the perfect fit for someone who wishes to have a hardworking mum babysitting your child in an informal way. Since being on maternity leave, I have copious amounts of time on my hands and would like to be useful to another mum. I am creative, enjoy writing music and engaging with children musically. I love reading and encouraging children to use their imaginations to play imaginatively, as this is something I saw was very sadly lacking in young children today in schools. I am able to cook dinners, and provide cleaning services also. I hope I can be of help to you, if so, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
My Experience
I enjoyed the role of being a teacher's assistant in a primary school, and I also worked in an after-school club with children of ages between 4-12 as an assistant. In addition to this, I worked in a forest school with toddlers so have extensive experience with all age groups. I have also been a children’s swimming teacher and lifeguard so have first aid training. I worked as a student support assistant with students between the ages of 16-22 with SEND and SEN, at a specialised provision in further education.

My Availability
Ideally, I would like to be available before and after school, providing school collection with a full clean drivers licence. I can also provide dinners and help with homework.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
As my qualifications are not wholly relevant to childcare besides the online courses I took to aid my work as a teacher's assistant, and I would be bringing my own baby along. I understand this is not to everyone's ideals so I would not be charging too expensively! I believe the average rates of babysitting are around £14.00 an hour, I would charge £12.00 an hour instead.
