About Me
My name is Soraya I am 18 and live in SE London. Over the past 4 years I have balanced studying full time and working, I graduated sixth form June of this year with grades A,A,A* after studying philosophy+ethics and a double extended diploma in health and social care. After finishing my studies and receiving offers from university's I decided that was not the direction I intended to go.
Being one of 4 siblings I have spent the entirety of my life in a busy household surrounded by lots of children and fun and love, this being a big part of the reason I have a passion for child care.
I aim to create a fun, stimulating and most importantly safe environment for all children in my care.
Having grown up with a parent who ran a charity for young people with learning difficulties and having trained many young people who have disabilities I understand the importance of empathy and patience and reflect this in role.
I am active, somewhat creative, and enthusiastic meaning I enjoy going on fun days out in the park, museum, farm and doing arts and crafts with children.
I have lived with my niece since she was born and now is 18 months who i adore and spend a lot of my time talking about haha!
I understand how important it is as a nanny to be reliable and can assure you that this is integral to me.
I am DBS checked.
My Experience
2017-ongoing I babysat for over 15+ families with multiple children ranging from 5months-14years old.
2018-2022 My Jammi cafe. My role was shift manger. I trained and worked with young people with learning difficulties/at risk whilst also being front of house manger.
2020-2022- I was a nanny for a after school nanny for an amazing family with 3 children under 6. My main responsibilities where, school pick ups, creating fun engaging activities, cooking meals for children, Bedtime and bath time.
2022- B+G front of house.
Volunteering- volunteered at Saturday club for young children with learning disabilities

Available monday-friday all day and evenings and some weekend if required.
