Hi,
My name is Jackie and I live in the lovely village of Blisworth, Northampton with my partner Steve.
I am 58 years old and have 3 gorgeous children.
I have 2 daughters, Charlie who is 24 and lives at home, Sophie who is 19 and is in university and a son Ashley who is 32 who lives in his own home.
I have a springador called Piper.
My Experience
I have been minding for over 34 years ( taking two three year breaks since I was 18) so have a lot of experience of children through the years.
I encourage learning through play, with my large selection of toys, construction and crafts in my well-equipped play room and follow the EYFS guidelines.
I have a fair size garden with a playhouse and a large slide with a lot of outside toy for your childs use.
I also have a large climbing frame which Children with parents’ permission can use.
My Qualifications
paediatric first aid trained.
Safeguarding Children
Enhanced Criminal Records check.
My Availability
I have two spaces available from January 2025
My work hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 6.00pm
I am able to do school drop off and collection from my local school which is Blisworth community primary.

My daughter has been going to Jackie’s for over a year now and absolutely loves her time there. It is a home from home environment and Jackie does a wide range of activities with her, from crafts to attending baby/toddler groups.
My eldest daughter also goes to Jackie’s for wrap around care from school and in the holidays, and is always excited to go.
I would be happy to recommend Jackie to anyone looking for an excellent childminder.

Jackie has been looking after our daughter since she started school, providing wrap around care before and after. She has a wealth of experience and provides both structured and fun activities to keep the children (of varying ages) engaged. Our daughter loves going to Jackie’s which makes it so much easier to be a working parent. Jackie has a wealth of knowledge and always on hand to provide advice! I would definitely recommend her as a dependable childminder.

My Daughter has been with Jackie for a few years, during term and in the holidays. She has been cared for very well. Jackie is very firm but fair. Having had 3 children she has a good understanding of what children need and want.
Thank for all your help Jackie I would have been lost without you.
