About Me
iam 39 Years of age and fully qualified in the childcare sector i have done childcare for 23 years in nursery Setting's , self employed as a nanny and onboard carnival and Disney Cruiselines in youth programmes.
I fully qualified as a practitioner in 2008
I’m currently working full time although my options are open to the right full time at least 37 hrs a week permanent position
As self employed I provide a professional weekly planning catered to your child’s learning development, along with planning outings daily communication is highly important verbally and a communication book provided along with any other requirements
Babysitting I do arts and crafts activities, baking and engage with your child while they are in my care and see to bed time routines if it’s evening babysitting
my current circumstances I’m in employment( private nursery)although keeping my options open ( with a 1 months notice period) I would be looking at a full time mon- Friday 30+ hours position , im available for weekend babysitting, unfortunately Iam a Non Driver and would be traveling by public transport

Iam not registered as a nanny with any registration body’s
I do not accept childcare vouchers as to do so you need to be registered and to register within Scotland this is through a nanny agency
Therefore I would not be self employed

Karla worked as our nanny full time for our 12 month old son and for our two daughters, 4 and 2, as needed after their school day or when they were sick. Karla was an excellent nanny, very dependable, responsible and communicative. She kept an elaborate diary of our son’s activities during the days and she also planned activities to enhance his development. He had a very strong bond with her and was always happy to see her in the mornings.
Karla also helped out around the house and always kept the things neat and tidy. She was available to work late if needed or come in early and would help with any errands I asked her to do. She also worked as a babysitter in the evenings when we needed and I never had to worry about our three young children being safe or getting to bed at a reasonable hour.
I would recommend Karla for any task, babysitting or being a nanny. She started working for us when I was returning to work full time after 3 years maternity leave. It was a very stressful time and I don’t know how I would have managed without her help in our household. We moved away from Aberdeen which is the only reason we ended her employment.
