About Me
Hi my name is Ellie and I live in Fairfield with my husband and boys. I have loved bringing up my children here and am looking forwards to having new adventures with some more little ones.
I love being creative, being outdoors, and cooking. I intend to bring creativity and adventure into my childminding, as well as offering a homely and caring environment.
My Experience
I have recently completed a Level 3 course in working in home-based childcare. This has included training in areas such as child learning and development, the EYFS, safeguarding and risk assessment. I have also completed a paediatric first aid course, am DBS cleared, and have had my initial inspection from Ofsted, so I am able to commence childminding.
I have trained and worked previously as a Registered Mental Health Nurse for the NHS, and as a Dementia Advisor for the Alzheimer’s Society. I have also worked in voluntary roles over the years including with the Garden House Hospice and Jimmy’s Night-shelter. I seem to be drawn to roles that involve caring for people.
I also have hands on experience with bringing up my own children, as well as nursing placements with health visitors.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Award in Preparing to work in home-based childcare.
BSc Mental Health Nursing - 1st Class Honours.
My Availability
My working hours are 8am-6pm Monday to Thursday.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.50 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Fees at £6 per hour. I can provide breakfast, lunch and snacks free of charge, but if you would like me to provide dinner it will be an additional £2.50.
