In my amazing SEND community I am known as Miss Maria. I provide specialised support to students with unique learning needs(ADHD, ASD, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia) ensuring they can participate effectively in their settings. I work on academic, sensory, behavioural, social and emotional needs. I simplify and adapt National Curriculum to suit any abilities. I work in client's home and provide tailored academic resources, visuals, fun activities and educational play. I also provide advice and guidance on all aspects of EHCPs. As a family coming from a war zone, we felt lost and overwhelmed, unsure of what to expect. Maria has been an incredible advocate for our son since May, helping us navigate the complexities of his EHCP. Her expertise and dedication were evident from the start, as she worked tirelessly to ensure that our son's educational needs were met. Not only did she provide invaluable guidance on the EHCP process, but she also negotiated directly with both the local council and our son's school, ensuring he received the support he needed.
Additionally, Maria played a pivotal role in securing a special needs placement for my son for the next academic year. Her commitment, professionalism, and compassionate approach have been truly life-changing for our family. I am deeply grateful for her support and highly recommend her services to any parent seeking assistance in navigating the special education system.

Miss Maria has been helping out son to come out of a very challenging time in his school journey. He was not able to cope with the expectations that started to rise from Y1 and unable to manage his frustration.
Some sensory processing deficits made handwriting and even the sitting still very difficult for him.
Maria helped him in dealing with it building up on his self esteem and took him to such a massive improvement in just few months.
Throughout the winter term on Y2 we had her as a shadowing companion in my son’s school for a couple of days a week and it made the difference. We recently received an email from the school praising for the unexpected massive growth and great results achieved by our son in this first term.
Maria has a very creative and caring approach that is easily able to engage with kids and her calm and positive approach is creating a great atmosphere that helps the learning enjoyment for the child.
She is able to analyse every situation and clever enough to adapt to any environment and adjust to the changing child needs.
I cannot recommend her enough as she is the person you definitely need if you are going through some tough times on your child school journey.

Maria has visited us 5 times (so far) to help our 8yo with his homework.
She is very knowledgeable and experienced and quickly put us at ease that she would be more than suitable for our requirements - she clearly stood out from anyone else we met
Our son enjoys his time with Maria, and she quickly got to know him and his requirements and thus able to support him in completing his homework/tasks from the start (Y3 Maths and English). She is able to ascertain when he needs a break before he needs one and he has always come out of his hour long lesson calm and positive
Maria is patient, kind, gentle and caring and we hope to continue the sessions into the next school year
