About Me
I’m Marine and my setting is a fun and warm, Montessori-inspired setting. This means I support your child to develop a passion for learning, explore the natural world and to nurture their independence.
A typical day might include:
- Arts and crafts
- Time outdoors in the garden, park or at the petting farm
- A trip to the library
- Singing and reading
- Baking
- Self-selected activities from the play room
- Everyday life skills e.g. learning to put shoes on independently
- Sensory activities
I offer:
. Care for babies from 6 months to children up to 5 years old.
. Year-round or school holidays-only care.
. Healthy, home-cooked vegetarian meals and snacks.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to ensure that your child is meeting their learning and development potential.

My Experience
I am passionate about children and child development. I have 2 years of experience working in an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rated Montessori setting. My experience has covered working with children from 6 months old to preschool age, twins and sibling groups.
I have worked with bi-lingual children and children from different cultural backgrounds. Throughout the year I teach the children about and we celebrate cultural events from multiple backgrounds. Being French myself, the children benefit from an introduction to basic French vocabulary, songs, foods and culture.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Early years Educator through an 18 months apprenticeship in a childcare setting rated outstanding and experience in a nursery rated good.
Paediatric First Aid 2024
Designated safeguarding officer from 2025
Food and Hygiene Level 3 from 2022
My Availability
I open Monday to Friday from 8 am until 5 pm.

We are happy she look after our daughter as she has patient, skill full and make energrtic atmosphere for children. She's following Montessori methods and very selective for children activities. My daughter is very excited when she wants going to Ms Marine house :)

Our children are so happy at Marine’s house!
Our two little girls always have a fun-filled day, filled with learning, play and outings! The Montessori approach has meant our oldest in particular has become very independent. Marine helps her learn sounds, numbers and skills like putting on her shoes and coat by herself.
Our youngest was born very prematurely and Marine has been so supportive, ensuring that she followed the exercises the physio showed us to help her learn to sit and be ready to crawl. I was nervous to leave our baby as she still was very little but Marine is so caring, that I was put at ease as soon as she started!
Would definitely recommend Marine!

I can’t recommend Marine enough; she has looked after our little girl for the last 3 years and I could not be happier with the job she has done. The relationship she has formed with our daughter is incredible and she is always delighted to see Marine. The setting engages our child and aids with her development brilliantly. Marine has a fantastic knowledge of montessori learning and has helped our daughter with her independence, fine motor skills and understanding of the wider world. To add to this understanding of the wider world, Marine is always willing to take the children outside the setting, on a variety of trips, which our girl always loves. As primary school teachers, with my wife being an EYFS specialist, we know the skills and knowledge children need to progress in the early years of school; with Marine, we are really confident those skills are developed from a very young age.

Marine is childminder to our 2 children (aged 1&3) she has looked after our children for 2 years now and she is incredible. Our children love the setting, they are supported so much and she has helped them improve their communication, education and developed their social skills. She takes them on regular trips to the library, farm, park amongst other activities. Our daughters LOVE going to Marines house, which gives us so much comfort that we can drop them off happy and smiley and looking forward to spending the day learning and playing with Marine.
