Offering Casual Childcare / After-school care
Hi, I'm currently 3 months into maternity leave and looking to offer childcare + school pick up from the local primary (Goring CofE or West Park CE).
Unfortunately I am not currently in the position to be able to register officially as a childminder but I am still able to offer up to 2 hours of care daily (15:30-17:30 + school pick-up). I will provide a snack, homework help, if and when relevant, and fun activities (park visits, library visits, arts and crafts etc).
I have worked in schools and nurseries for the last 7 years and I am registered with the DBS Update service so I can provide a copy if required. I am up to date with safeguarding training. I have previously done adult first aid but I haven't yet done the official pediatric one (although it is booked for the end of the month!).
I am excited for the opportunity to add some structure to mine and little one's day and give him the chance to socialise with other children, especially if it can also help out another local parent!

My Experience
I have worked with children of all ages in various settings. I have done nursery work with under 2s, holiday/after-school clubs with primary, teaching in secondary and 16+. I've done extra curriculars and class room teaching, and have also worked with teens up to 18 in a boarding school
