About Us

As an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ setting, My First Friends Droitwich provides high quality childcare, within a stimulating, and safe environment, encouraging learning and development. The nursery provides full time and part time care for children aged 0-5 years old.

Children aged 6 weeks – 16 months are situated upstairs in the ‘Dreamers’ room, with three conjoining rooms offering spacious areas for a self-sufficient milk kitchen for prepping feeds, as well as offering a space that allows natural light to beam through open windows. This room is also connected to the older babies’ room ‘Discoverers’ which is for those aged 16 months – 2 years old.

Both rooms are equipped with a variety of equipment such as balancing beams, slides, and apparatus to support younger children with achieving key milestones such as walking and improving their ability to develop at a steady pace.

‘Explorers’ is a room for children aged 2 – 3 years old, and is separated into four smaller areas, providing the opportunity for ‘Our People’ to focus on each stage of development within these years, ensuring every child receives high quality care. The ‘Pre-school area’ for 3 – 4 year olds is separated into three smaller rooms, allowing children to feel safe and welcome in an area that offers plenty of space to learn and grow.

The garden area includes an allotment where children can plant and grow their own food, encouraging a sustainable way of life through a host of gardening activities that help the crops flourish. There is also a play park, located within a large spacious woodland area on the nursery grounds where children can play outdoors and experience a variety of child-friendly equipment such as: sandpits, construction area, firepit, mud kitchen and a bug hotel, commonly known in our nurseries as ‘Buggingham Palace’. This setting offers an outdoor classroom for children the be at one with nature and enjoy learning in a contrasting environment.

We are open from 7:30am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year (we are closed at Christmas and on bank holidays).
