Hello! I am currently a student at Edinburgh Napier University studying Music but am graduating and moving to Glasgow at the start of September. I am originally from the US and plan to stay in the UK/Europe long-term after graduating uni. I am looking for a job to start in the fall!
My Experience
I began babysitting/nannying at 14 years old. I have since worked for over 10 families doing consistent babysitting and many more for occasional babysitting. When nannying, I love implementing creative activities, going outside, playing games etc. I have experience with and am happy to help out around the house, cook meals, as well as doing family errands. I have experience watching children from 6 months old to 13 years old. I also love all kinds of pets and am happy to help with pet care as well!!
My Qualifications
I was Red Cross Certified when I began babysitting. I have worked for many families and would be able to contact them as a reference.
My Availability
Currently, my schedule after moving is completely open! (that is of course subject to change). I typically prefer more full days than a couple hours most or every day but I am absolutely flexible with my schedule.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
As I have over 8 years of experience nannying and the real Living Wage Scotland has recently updated to £12.60 for the living wage, my rate is currently £13.00/hour. That being said, I am also flexible with rates if needed!

Maddy is reliable and responsive, making everything easier. She is friendly, patient, and has a calm style. She is also happy to help with light housework when the baby is sleeping. On top of that, we very much appreciated her taking covid-measures during babysitting - a huge plus for risk-averse families.
