About Me
Hi, I'm Mia! Im looking to turn my role as a foster sister in to a professional carer. My passion for childcare started when i was 7 and my mum became a foster carer, 14 years later, I'm proud to say that Ive been a foster sister to over 70 children, aging from newborn to 10. As i’ve got older i’ve been a lot more involved with this line of work, baby sitting, day care, bed times ect. Every child is very different from the previous, so each one is a learning journey for me and mum. My mum is my inspiration for childcare and i would love to follow her footsteps. Bonding with the family is also very important to me so please fell free to drop me a message with any questions you may have!
My Experience
My mum became a foster carer when I was 7 and in the last 14 years we have looked after over 70 kids aged newborn to 10 years old. As i’ve gotten older i am heavily relied on to help mum with childcare and enjoy doing so, I am now hoping to get into childcare more professionally.
I am DBS checked and have paediatric first aid training. I have a full, valid and clean drivers licence and my own car.
I am happy to do household chores:
- washing
- cleaning
- meal prep (ect)
And I do not mind taking on any furry family members as well :)
