About Me
My name is Vanessa, Ofsted registered childminder.
I am a good listener, respectful, love children, have respect for multiculturalism and children of all religious background. I provide lots of play activities and trips to different fun places. My setting is a safe, clean friendly, Equal opportunity, inclusion and a stimulating environment
I provide a safe and comfortable home-from-home atmosphere and I am committed to excellence in providing quality care and education in a safe, secure loving, happy, healthy and stimulating environment.
I offer a child-cantered approach care which encourage children to develop their creativity, individuality, self-confidence/esteem in a secure, loving and stimulating environment where children learn.
I give parent daily diaries or for very busy parent send WhatsApp photos regularly to updated them on their children stay at my setting. I give books to the children at the end of their last day of each week to encourage and enhance children's development in line the new EYFS Curriculum.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 15 years, working with children from 0 months to 10 years. I have 2 boys of my own and our home is a home away from home environment for the children in my care.
I provide a warm, relaxed, comfortable and safe play and learn environment where children develop and enjoy educational activities in line with the updated EYFS.
I routinely take the children to various play groups, parks, children soft play, toy libraries, museums and farms.
I am able to provide a fun and safe environment to meet children's individual needs to the best of my ability, providing the children with a range of fun , creative and educational activities indoor and outdoors.
I liaise with their school/nursery teachers to help promote learning based on Ofsted requirement to ensure a seamless transition from the setting to school.

Vanessa has been looking my 2 children, since when the little one was 7 month old, she is very caring, has a lot of patience and communicate so well with me. my children were very happy staying with her, always looking forward to go and stay at auntie Vanessa house. she is very professional in everything she does, making sure my children are very much looked after.

Vanessa has been looking after my daughter since she was 1. She’s now 4 years of age and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with caring for my child. Vanessa helped me navigate my daughter’s eating habits (she was a very fussy eater), potty training and terrible twos. My daughter is genuinely very happy and looks forward to attending her childminder everyday. Vanessa is very caring, understanding and has been extremely flexible in times of need. The environment she cares for the children in is very clean and I receive daily updates on her care and activities completed. I genuinely cannot praise her enough for taking care of my child and making her feel at home.

My daughter has been with Vanessa since summer 2020. Vanessa is the first childminder I have used and I am so glad I trusted my gut. Vanessa provides a home away from home for my daughter. My daughter feels comfortable and thoroughly enjoys her time at Vanessa’s angels. Vanessa takes the children out on trips to the park, local children's centres and other activities on a regular basis ensuring that the children take part in a variety of activities during their time there. We have regular catch ups regarding my daughters development and wellbeing where Vanessa gives professional advice and support. I couldn’t have asked for a better childminder. Thank you so much for all your hard work Vanessa!

Recently met this lovely lady. This is my first time using a childminder and straight away I felt at ease and listened to.
