Part-Time Nanny – Epsom (Start ASAP | Long-Term Opportunity)

We are a warm and friendly family based in Epsom looking for a caring, reliable nanny for our 2.5-year-old son. This role has two parts — summer cover and longer-term care from September — and we welcome applications from candidates interested in either or both.

- Location: Epsom (near Eastdean Avenue)
- Child: 2.5-year-old boy – curious, happy, and enjoys outdoor play, singing, and stories
- Pay: To be discussed based on experience and availability

Part 1 – Summer Cover (ASAP to End of August)
Monday: 8:30am – 6:30pm (timing is indicative and open to discussion)

Three additional weekdays (flexible): 8:30am – 1:30pm
(e.g. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday – but flexible)

~25–30 hours per week

Ideal for someone available immediately for a summer role

Part 2 – Term Time (From September Onwards)
Our son starts nursery in September (Stamford Green Primary), and we’re looking for support around his new routine.

Monday & Tuesday: 8:30am – 6:30pm (timing is indicative and open to discussion)

Wednesday: 8:30am – 12:30pm and 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Thursday & Friday: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

~35 hours/week (term-time only)

This will be a permanent role for the right person

Flexibility during half-terms and school holidays for additional hours would be a big plus

If you’re not able to cover every single time slot or may need to miss a day, that’s not a deal breaker — the most important thing to us is finding someone with the right experience and approach.

Duties:
Engaging in play and local activities (indoor and outdoor)

Supporting learning and independence

Preparing simple, healthy meals/snacks

Drop-off/pick-up support (walking distance)

Light child-related tidying (toys, meals, etc.)

About You:
Experienced with toddlers

Warm, patient, and engaging

Ideally has experience with potty training

DBS-checked, with the right to work in the UK

Local to Epsom or able to commute reliably

Bonus if you’re flexible and open to evolving needs
