About Me
Hello, my name is Jacqueline Bloor and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, with 24 years experience. At my last inspection in January 2022 I received a Good.
I live on Crown Lane in Horwich, and have a 25 year old son. I took redundancy from my last employer, in order to be at home with him, many years ago now!. This enabled me to establish my childminding business.
I can provide the 15 hours of free government funded childcare, for 9 months old & up, and also the 30 hours for the 3 & 4 year olds.
I ensure the children have a warm, caring, home from home environment where they can learn feeling safe and secure. I attend various toddler groups, play areas, libraries and museums, along with (weather permitting!) parks and the beach. These activities help the children to become sociable, caring and independent. I provide lots of educational activities, such as various arts and crafts, toy kitchens, books, etc, which enables children to learn through play. I believe that if children are happy and feel secure they will achieve and excel in every aspect of their lives.

Various other on line training courses, to keep me up to date.
My Availability
I have after school places available... I currently pick up at Horwich parish.
I also have a part time space available.
My working day starts from 8.00 and I usually finish at 5.00.
I can be flexible, to fit in with parents needs, and to cover weekday shift work patterns.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My fees are dependant on whether the place is full time or part time, and if twins or siblings are involved. Please contact me for for further information.

Excellent child minder 110% trust and the relationship jacqueline builds with the child is phenomenal never had any issues with the care of my child and very flexible to cater to individual needs highly recomend as a mother to 5 children very exspirenced childminder and the child is at the heart od everything she does

Jackie is an exceptional childminder, the help and advice we have received in regards to the welfare of our two year old boy has been very helpful and supportive. Jackie continues to help in any which way we need to help our son progress in the best way he can. Our son has settled very and has progressed amazingly with his social skills due the encouragement and the the patience that Jackie has given. I would 100% recommend Jackie to any parent in need of a childminder

As well as entrusting my now 16 month old to Jackie's care I have also had the pleasure of witnessing her work at close range for the last 5 years. I have no hesitation in recommending her and as a result of my recommendation my sisters 3 children have been in her care...they still ask for her now and adore seeing her in social settings. My little boy is very fond of her and responds really well to her which is unusual because he is quite shy.
If you want an experienced, highly qualified child-minder who is also extremely warm and nurturing with all children she comes into contact with she's the child-minder for you. If the children could write this it'd tell you everything you needed to know. She's a natural.

Jackie looked after my little boy Kaiden, on a full time basis. I was apprehensive about leaving Kaiden at first, but Jackie put me at ease, with her warm, caring, friendly manner. Kaiden settled in really quickly with Jackie, and he loved going to Jackie's on a daily basis. He used to ask for her at weekends, as he could not understand why she was not there. Kaiden came on in leaps and bounds with Jackie, and he made some great friends. Jackie is very approachable, and she is passionate about her job, this comes across with how caring she is towards the children. I had no concerns about leaving Kaiden whilst I was at uni, as I knew he would be safe with Jackie. Kaiden is no longer in Jackie's care, but we are still in touch, and Kaiden still asks for Jackie. If you want a war, friendly, caring, trustworthy child minder then Jackie is that person. I can highly recommend her.
