About Me
I am the mother of an 16 year old boy and 12 year old girl who both attend secondary school. I am freindly, reliable and enthusiastic I am ofstead registered and graded good I offer a fun, stimulating and relaxed environment for your child to grow and learn and achive their maximum potential through play. I am a registered child-minder and have been registered since 2010 I currently work with an assistant and have done for the previous 8 years, she has a background SEN and is mackaton proficient. We both have experience in caring for children from birth to 16 years old . I find my job very rewarding and enjoy what I do. In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my children. Swimming, going to parks, camping and fishing are regular family pass times we also do alot of charity work as a family . When working I aim to do regular trips to either a park, wood country park, beach to encourage the children to be active and explore the natural world around them, and we regularly attend baby bounce and soft play sessions. We enjoy cooking eith the children as well as offering a variety of play i. e. Painting, play dough, sand, water, threading etc. I also co run a music/craft group once a week with other child care professionals for the children to interact and socialise with other children from outside of my setting.
My Experience
I have over 18 years experience in total gained through childminding own children and care of family members and friends children. I previously drove coaches and minibuses doing school runs and have gained a very minimal first hand experience with sen during this time
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 in childcare, I am ofstead registered graded "good" and pediatric first aid qualified. I also have completed numerous other child and sen related courses and regularly update my training to, my assistant is level 3 qualified in child care with a sen background and mackaton proficient, she also has her own children and over 10 years experience in working with children and has compleated numerous other child related courses she also regularly updates her training .

I am available Mon - fri 730am till 530 but can be flexible.

A warm, welcoming environment from the time you arrive and a huge variety of activities/days out on offer for the children to keep them entertained, educated and most importantly happy!
My daughter has been there since she was 2 years and 8 months and has always loved being there – she will miss them all, but she goes well prepared with all the skills that Tania and Theresa have helped build over the time.
From a parent’s point of view, the communication from Tania about our children and what they have been doing, along with information around her training/safeguarding/plans for her setting is fantastic.
