If you are looking for a place where your child can socialise but still be in an intimate environment, The Playhouse is exactly what you need. As they keep their adult : child ratio low, my son still gets personalised attention which was important for me as he is still young (9 months).
Communication with Filipa and Alex (the owners) has been consistent and they always make time to talk about the care of my son. In particular, I receive a personalised note at the end of each day, telling me how much he has eaten at each meal, what he has done throughout the day, when and how long he has slept for and how many nappy changes he's had.
The Playhouse is a family-owned small business and quite honestly it feels like it's more than just a business to them. They are just as invested in my son's development as I am. They pack their days filled with fun and varied activities (both in and outside of the premises) and provide home cooked meals every day.
This is a unique find in the Croydon area and I could not be happier with the care my son has been given.
