My names Megan and I’m 19. I currently work as a nanny and I do a lot of babysitting in my free time. I am a kind and caring person and I have always loved working with children. Some things I like to do are baking, going for walks and getting creative which I would happily do with all children.
My Experience
When I finished secondary school, I started an apprenticeship at a nursery September 2021 where I was looking after the ages 5 months- 4 years. Some of my duties in this role were making snacks, nappy changes, potty training, nap times etc. I completed my level 2 early years practitioner qualification in January 2023 and continued to work there until July 2023.
In July 2023 I found a nannying job for a 14 year old girl and my duties was to do school runs, prepare and make her smoothies and dinners and get her to have a shower before her tutoring. During the school holidays, we worked together to come up with things to do. This role ended December 1st 2023.
On the 7th January 2024 I started a new short term nannying role for 3 boys aged 5,9 and 10. My duties in this role were to do school runs, prepare snacks and dinners, ensure they have showers, get to bed on time etc.whilst the children were at school, I did cleaning around the house. I also did additional babysitting on the side for this family. This role ended at the end of February 2024.
I am currently looking after a 2 year old boy and part of this role I lovingly prepared food, cleaned after him, educated, entertained and cared for him. My favourite thing was to go to activity groups and soft play. This was a long term role (starting at the beginning of June 2024) but is sadly ending at the end of august due to the family moving countries.
In addition, I often babysit for a variety of ages. I have taken children out on day trips and stayed overnight for the family. I have also looked after pets along Whitby he children too.
My Qualifications
During my apprenticeship I got my level 2 early years practitioner qualification. Some other qualifications/ training I have done are level 2 food hygiene and safety for catering, advanced safeguarding children level 2, full paediatrics first aid (12hr). Oral health 1hour. And I’m hoping to do more courses and training to get more experienced.

My Fees
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (net)
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
If I’m driving whilst working mileage would need to be paid too. 45p a mile
Overnight/ weekends I charge £16
