About Me
We are a busy, slightly untidy family in a house full of books and art. My husband and I both work largely from home, he running his own business and me advising on net zero policy (though I'm also trying to write my first book, which is going slowly). When we have any spare time we like to swim at Jesus Green Lido (very near our house), read and watch the usual boxsets. We have two children: Hector is four, and Ishbel is one (both Scottish names). Hector is a bright and cheerful boy who loves learning - after visiting the Botanic Gardens he became obsessed with carnivorous plants. He's fascinated by nature and likes to ask many questions. He also loves superheroes, and reading many many books - but he also loves to climb trees, run around and go to the swimming pool. Ishbel is shaping up to be both mischievous and extremely kind and loving. She loves birds and dogs and will enjoy any walk outside which involves a combination of spotting the two. She adores books and will demand her favourites noisily.
