About Me
We are a family of mum, dad, big sister (13yrs - doesn't need care) and Toby 6yrs - Toby is a very happy cheeky boy who loves adventures, lego, drawing characters and animals and has a fantastic imagination. He is on the autism pathway and has sensory processing issues and shows signs of ADHD - as his mind and legs works at 100mph! He is toilet trained, but sometimes needs prompting to go as he forgets when he's busy. Though he can communicate well and is fiercely independent and loves to play, he does have sensory processing issues and can become overwhelmed easily - he runs off when the mood takes him, and needs someone who is mobile enough to keep up with him. He is very social and loves meeting people, but needs guidance playing with other children/adults in particular and understanding social cues/boundaries (for exampling understanding when people don't want to play, or that when sword fighting we have to be gentle) He is happiest when he gets to do his own thing or focus on an activity and needs adults to guide him to do this safely.
