Hi! Originally from Staffordshire, I am lucky enough to have lived in beautiful Bath for the past two years. I am a sociable, passionate and nurturing individual whose career has been tailored to working with children. Music has always been a big part of my life- you will always find me singing! Unfortunately, I am unable to have pets in the flat however, I love visiting my two rabbits and Labrador back at my family home :)
In my spare time, you will find me cooking; listening to music and reading!
My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher for four years as both a permanent member of staff and a supply teacher in schools across Bristol and Bath teaching children from reception-Year 6. From July onwards, I am looking to pursue a career providing tutoring, nannying and babysitting services. In the school holidays, I have worked in nurseries with experience of looking after children from the age of 10 months. For me, building a strong relationship with children where they feel respected and nurtured is so important and I enjoy creating learning opportunities based on understanding children's individual learning styles and interests.
My Qualifications
I have a First Class Honours Degree in English Literature and Philosophy and gained a Distinction in my PGCE. Additionally, I have completed several safeguarding courses and continue to complete these as part of my professional development.
My Availability
From July onwards, I am available to book for live out nannying, babysitting and tutoring jobs.
