Hi! Originally from Staffordshire, I am lucky enough to have lived in beautiful Bath for the past two years. I am a sociable, passionate and nurturing individual whose career has been tailored to working with children. Music has always been a big part of my life- you will always find me singing! Unfortunately, I am unable to have pets in the flat however, I love visiting my two rabbits and Labrador back at my family home :)
In my spare time, you will find me cooking; listening to music and reading!
My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher for four years. My first year was based in Year 1 and since then, I have supplied in several schools across Bristol and Bath in long-term placements from reception-Year 6. I provide tutoring and babysitting services during the holidays and have undertaken nursery work in the summer for numerous years with experience of looking after children from the age of 10 months. For me, building a strong relationship with children where they feel respected and nurtured is so important and I enjoy creating learning opportunities based on understanding children's individual learning styles and interests.
My Qualifications
I have a First Class Honours Degree in English Literature and Philosophy and gained a Distinction in my PGCE. Additionally, I have completed several safeguarding courses and continue to complete these as part of my professional development.
My Availability
I am available in the summer holidays for tutoring, babysitting and part-time nannying jobs where suitable.
