My name is Karen, I’m 46 years old. I hold the NNEB diploma in childcare ( equivalent to a level three in childcare)
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse of 27 years.
I have worked in a school, Day nurseries across all ages and stages and as a registered childminder.
I have knowledge of the EYFS framework and The Birth to Five framework. I am first aid trained and have an upto date DBS check certificate.
I also have a Diploma in SEN support.
I have two children of my own which are grown up now, married and live in the Hillingdon area.
My passion has been working with children, for seeing children thrive through learning and play activities along with encouragement, independence and praise.
My Experience
I have had 27 years of experience working with babies and young children.
I have worked in a school with children aged between 3 and 11 years across all ages groups. This has included children with SEN as a specific purpose Teaching assistant planning activities that are adapted to their abilities.
I have also worked in Day nurseries which I am currently working in at present. In the nurseries I have worked with babies to 4 years. This also involves planning using the Early years framework which helps the child to progress at their own pace using activities suitable for their age.
I have also been a registered childminder . I registered when my own children were little and enjoyed this very much.

I am available Monday to Friday and ,depending on location , from 8-6 pm.
