About Me

I'm Rebecca a mum of two older children 16 and 18. I am caring, patient, enthusiastic and extremely hard working and put my all into what I do, as I pride myself on giving children the best care and experiences I can.

I love reading, travelling and spending time with my family and friends. I have recently found a love for the outdoors.

I absolutely love setting up age appropriate activities for children and giving them a variety of different play experiences to experience.

I have always made great bonds with the children in my care and their parents/carers.

My Experience

I have over 13 years childcare experience I’ve worked in nurseries, pre schools and primary school so I have worked with all ages up to 12. I am Elklan trained and a qualified Level 3 teaching assistant and level 3 early years practitioner. As well as bringing up my own two children.

I am currently a deputy manager and room leader in a pre school where I take care of the day to day running of the nursery completing rotas deploying staff ensuring ratios are always met completing show rounds ofsted inspections, rotas meetings with parents and responding to emails. Within my room completing planning and setting up fantastic activities for the children, toilet training observations and reviews.

I have one to one SEN experience, I’ve worked with children with hearing impairments, Autism and ADHD. I also have experience in speech and language as I am Elklan trained and have worked alongside speech therapist.
