About Me
Hi, my name is Amy and i’m a norland student training to be a nanny. I have had previous experience in lots of different primary schools and in various day nursery’s including the baby room, toddler room and pre school room. I have also volunteered helping in a special needs dance and cheerleading team. I have had lots of opportunities babysitting for children of different ages and also had experience nannying for various families and have worked in Schools Summer holiday sports camps. I am a caring and reliable person who loves working with children. I enjoy going on walks and trying new things. I am looking for work in Chorley/ Preston area preferably over the summer holidays/ half terms times. During term times i live in Bath, and would also love the opportunity to work during term times in Bath.
My Experience
I have my level 3 Childcare qualification, currently working to level 6 Norland degree and diploma and have had experience working in a primary school setting in a reception class for 2 years. I have also had experience working at the pre school here too with children 3-4. I have done supply work with an agency in nursery’s with various ages in multiple settings. I’m addition, i have done voluntary and paid work for a special needs class of mixed ages. I have had experience with baby sitting too. I have also completed Uni placements in the baby room and primary schools during my time at norland so far. I have also worked with a family placement with 3 children. I also have experience working in House keeping in a hotel, cooking breakfasts and can help out with day to day tasks around the house. My most recent job involved me coaching at a summer holiday sports camp where i shared my passion for sports with the children.
My Qualifications
I have completed and gained a distinction in my level 3 education childcare qualification in a T level. I also have 8 GCSE qualifications. I am working towards my BA (hons) Early childhood education and care degree and Norland diploma.
My Availability
I am available over the summer holiday periods and other half terms to help out with childcare. I live in the Croston area.
I am also available in Bath during term times. I live in the Southdown area in Bath.
