Hello, Rhyanna here! I’m 23 years old and based in Cornwall. I have 3 years of Childcare experience working across various rooms from ages 6 months to 5 years. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education and have taken several further training courses to support my childcare experience.
I understand the importance that diverse play and experiences have on children’s development so I love finding unique ways to incorporate valuable resources into activities based on their interests. I particularly enjoy getting stuck into creative and role play activities, as well as outdoor play using natural resources as tools to further imagination and development. I have experience in activity planning for all age groups so can provide stimulating and appropriate play ideas as well as following child led play with a more go with the flow approach.
I am a happy and approachable personality which allows for children to create strong bonds and trust. I am a reliable and trust-worthy worker who is dedicated to providing quality care.
My Experience
Whilst earning my diploma I was required to complete 750 placement training hours in a childcare setting environment working across ages 6 months to 8 years. Once I was qualified I was employed full time at a nursery where I was based in the preschool room, I worked there for 2 years before moving to another setting. In my second setting I started off in the preschool room, as I’ve had most experience with children 3-4 years, however was handed the opportunity to move to the baby room as their deputy room leader to gain further experience with children aged 6 months to 2.
My role during both nursery settings was to encourage play and learning through various development stages, contributing to meal times, including snacks and lunch (bottle feeding for the little ones). I was able to partake in settling children for nap time, having my own key children to work with, liaising with parents and family members at pick up and drop off, changing nappies and toilet time trips. I also have experience with SEN children as well as safeguarding for vulnerable children and those with more challenging behaviours.

My Availability
I am available Monday to Saturday for afternoon and evening sessions. Until I obtain a drivers license my flexibility would depend on having enough notice for different schedules. I am happy to pick up morning and overnight sessions if I am available and have adequate notice. Not available on Sundays.

- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
Hourly rate starts at 12.50 for a single child.
£2.50 per extra child.
