My Experience

I’m Kierra, an experienced nanny and tutor with a passion for education and child development. I previously conducted remote math lessons with Coachbright, where I created tailored lesson plans for students based on their strengths and areas for improvement. This role allowed me to refine my teaching approach, especially when working with children aged 7-8, ensuring that each lesson was engaging and effective.

In addition to my experience in tutoring, I actively volunteer in workshops that promote STEM subjects to children, helping to ignite curiosity and build foundational skills in science, technology, engineering, and math. I’m passionate about making learning both fun and accessible for children.

I served as a student librarian, which fostered my deep love for books and storytelling. I believe that reading is essential to children’s creativity and language development, and I’ve shared this love with my younger siblings, including my sister, who just finished reading the Harry Potter series—we're visiting Harry Potter Studios soon!
I also ran form-time reading sessions, where children would read aloud to me, and we’d discuss their understanding of the text. I bring this interactive approach to my nannying, reading books with children and encouraging discussions that spark their imagination and comprehension.

As a nanny, I provide a warm, loving atmosphere tailored to each child's unique needs. I believe in open communication with both parents and children to ensure that everyone’s concerns and goals are addressed.

I am flexible and open to being a Live-In Nanny, I am a Full UK License Holder with a car and can assist in the school run.
