About Me
Hi, I'm Sara, mum of 2 lovely boys (3 years old and 2 year old), running a Home from Home Nursery setting called Little Windmills Home Nursery.
As a qualified primary school teacher (with 14 years of education experience), I provide a wide range of activities and learning opportunities to meet the children's individual needs. Play is a key aspect for children to learn and develop through. Therefore, activities and play in my setting follow the EYFS framework. Each and every child will receive the support and guidance they need to meet their individual needs to achieve their best possible outcomes as well as enough challenge to help extend and reach their full potential.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
My setting is a short walk from Gravesend Town centre (10 minutes)
I have my own car with business insurance, which allows me to take children on outings to local play groups, farms, parks, and other learning opportunities.
My Experience
I am a fully qualified teacher, having worked in education for over 14 years, working with a variety of age groups from nursery up to year 6.
I have been a personal tutor for the last 3 years, supporting those with covid catch-up, KS1 tests as well as KS2 and the 11plus exams.
My Qualifications
I have a BA Hons Degree in Education Srudies as well as a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status.
My Availability
I am available every Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm.
