About Me
I am currently a university student at the University of Portsmouth, studying a BA (HONS) Childhood and youth studies with criminology. I enjoy cooking, going on walks and socialising. I would love to babysit your children as it would assist in my degree and I have always been interested in watching children learn and grow! On top of this, I want to help people out there who struggle finding childcare.
My Experience
I have babysat in the past, I looked after an 8 year old girl every so often and she loved playing with her dolls with me. I have also done work experience in a primary school with a year 1 class (age 5-6) which involved similar roles as a teaching assistant. On top of this, I have ran some sessions of the children's church group at home which involved children ages 5+.
My Qualifications
I have 10 GCSE's including a Level 2 Child development GCSE, I have 3 A-Levels including level 3 health and social care (which involved child related content), i am a qualified first aider having completed the Highfield level 3 award in emergency first aid at work (this is in date until 2026. As well as this, I have had a DBS check done and have the papers.
My Availability
As a University student, I have some flexibility as to when I can work, but this will vary as sometimes I will be at home, away from Portsmouth.
