My Summary
About Me
Hi there! My name is Elena and I have a degree in Textiles design, so I have a very creative and adaptable mind. I’m looking for one new role to replace my 3 part time roles as it would be a lot easier logistically! I’ve been working with these families for a year now, mostly cooking and cleaning. Preferably the hours would be between 9-5, minimum 25 hours a week. I volunteer at Battersea cats and dogs home every Wednesday 8-12 and would like to keep this, so wouldn’t be able to work those hours.
I love animals (especially a dog lover!), art, nature and family time. I'm mainly looking for household roles, e.g., cleaning/ housekeeper, dog walking, pet sitting and cooking but I'm open to babysitting/ nannying. The children I look after at the moment are twin boys (6) and two girls (3 and 6). I don't have any experience with children younger than this so wouldn't be comfortable looking after them.
Since I graduated I have been working as a chef in various restaurants/ cafes so I have experience keeping kitchens and restaurant floor areas clean to a professional and inspection standard - as well as knowing my way round a kitchen! I’m enthusiastic, hard working, creative and take pride in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. I don’t have a license so I won’t be able to drive. I look forward to speaking with you!
My Experience
I have been working for two families the last 11 months: cleaning (hoovering, mopping, ironing, dusting, organising, washing, deep clean etc), dog walking, cooking (most lunches and dinners for the whole family) and some babysitting during school holidays and in the evenings.
I have experience working as a chef (nandos, Wagamamas and wildwood trust café in Kent) in which I would often waitress if we were understaffed. I also have retail experience in WHSmith and Sainsburys. All these roles have provided me with communication and organisational skills as well as professional cleaning standards. I have also babysat a number of children during university due to my partner being a full time Nanny and the children loved having me around and I enjoyed playing with them and looking after them.
