About Me
I am a flexible, caring and enthusiastic professional with a qualified teaching degree (BA Hons, QTS). I am offering my services in being a nanny, baby sitter, tutor, home help and house sitting. I work as a full time private tutor so I can only offer adhoc or evening or weekend times. I also have a small dog and so I am familiar with being around pets in the household. I enjoy creative and outdoor learning opportunities that stimulate a child’s mind and enjoyment. I only support children aged 4+.
My Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 8 years of experience working in a state school with a diverse range of children, including those with moderate special needs such as dyslexia, autism, speech language and cerebral palsy. I have great experience of the national curriculum for any homework help as well as providing engaging real life learning opportunities. I have had yearly safeguarding training and take this very seriously, understanding the regulations very clearly. I have an in-date enhanced DBS which is on the update service.
I currently work in alternative education, tutoring children 1:1 in which the school environment is not suitable for their needs.
