My Summary

My Experience

I have experience as a Teaching Assistant for Year 6 and Year 1 children. I loved my work in a school but particularly the moments where I could learn about what each child is passionate about, and find new activities for them to broaden their knowledge of these interests. I taught phonics, reading, English, Maths and spellings 1-1 and in groups, along with a range of subjects which I supported in a class environment. Therefore, I am very happy helping with homework in a patient way with a breadth of knowledge, keeping a love for learning at the focus. I worked daily with children with SEND, ADHD, autism and additional emotional needs during my time at the school. I regularly worked with pre-verbal and non-verbal children, finding new ways to communicate through play and movement. My top priority is always the emotional wellbeing of the children in my care.

My Qualifications

I have excellent results in 10 GCSEs and 3 A-Levels. I have completed first year of a degree in Philosophy and I have a year's experience working in a primary school.

My Availability

I am available for weekday work as a live-out nanny in a friendly family. I am also available for babysitting, school pick-up and drop-off. I can be flexible depending on the needs of the family and school holidays, so let's have a chat about what works best for your household! I am happy to complete ad-hoc house work and dog-walking, as I know it can be very hectic maintaining these obligations while balancing family and work life.
I have a full UK driving license and my own car. I am currently working on applications for drama schools and I hope to go travelling in the summer, so I will be available to join a family from now until the end of May.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

£11-15/per hour depending on family budget and any extra evenings required.
