Full Time Nanny/Child Minder

My Experience

I have been a casual babysitter for family/friends since I was 13. I’ve worked in afterschool clubs for children ages 4-11, I worked as a teaching assistant for over a year in a primary school for children aged 4 and 5 and I’ve recently gained experience through working in a couple of nurseries so I know what to expect when looking after babies and toddlers! I also have lots of experience with children under one from babysitting / nannying my family friend’s children. I’m looking to broaden my experience in family homes and child minding so that I can use these skills in the future! I want to travel more than anything and I’d love to be able to look after children during my travels. I believe nannying would be the perfect job for me while travelling so I’d love to do it as much as I can now to help me in the future!

My Qualifications

I have a DBS, first aid training, safeguarding training and NELI training. NELI helps children with under developed language skills so I am qualified to teach those skills. I also taught a small group of children maths 4 days a week at the primary school I worked at so I’m very experienced although I am not qualified. Once I have saved enough money, I will start my level 2 childcare qualification, however I am very experienced and have many references to support this!

My Availability

Ideally full time, I’m available in the evenings but wouldn’t be able to do every single evening and casual weekends. I am also happy with part time work as long as it’s consistent. Or the odd babysitting job :)

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)

Preferably over £13 per hour
