About Me
My name is Michelle and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have been registered since March 2007 and had an outstanding Ofsted report in March 2011 and July 2015. I am very caring and patient and registered as a childminder as I find the job very rewarding. We have two guinea pigs. I live in a 4 bedroom house and have 3 children of my own aged 27, 23 and 15. I do a school run to and from Boringdon Primary School. I do lots of activities with the children I mind and we have weekly sessions in music and movement, phonics and numeracy. We also visit a residential home with the children once a month. I am able to provide funded sessions for 3 and 4 year olds in term time.
My Experience
I have 27 years experience of being a mum. I have previously worked in a pre school and have worked as a meal time assistant in a primary school. I have been childminding since March 2007 and have worked for Children and Young Peoples Services (Social Services) babysitting for a family on their behalf.
My Qualifications
12 hour First Aid Training
Food Safety Certificate
Diploma in home based childcare - Grade A.
I also undertake regular training courses.
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday 6.30am to 6.30pm, 47 weeks a year. I am also registered to care for 2 children aged under 8 for overnight care. I have vacancies during the school holidays.

My son in quite shy and I was worried about him going to any childcare setting but Michelle is just amazing! My son felt very welcome and settled in literally on day one. He loves going and Michelle is so warming and accommodating for all the children that go there. Highly recommended.

Michelle, is warm, friendly and kind childminder. My daughter is always happy to go to her. If you are looking for a home from home environment where your child is loved and cherished - I would highly recommend. You get regular photo updates and can see all the activities the children are doing.
