About Me
My name is Ellie and I am the owner of Butterflies.
Butterflies offers a homely, warm environment with small ratios ensuring the best quality care. A safe space for every child, where they can be themselves and enjoy every single day. I hope to give parents the piece of mind knowing that Butterflies can provide all the care that children need to thrive as they grow.
I use an app for easy communication, daily updates and payments.
I worked very hard creating my space and I look forward to meeting new little people and their families to share it with.
In my latest inspection I am proud to share that I received a GOOD grading in all areas. This report is available on request.
My Experience
I have minded children throughout the years for friends and family. This job is second nature now, as a mother myself. I will continue to develop my knowledge on the EYFS to further support my existing training and grow as a professional. I am required to complete a minimum of 16 hours CPD each year as part of working with an agency.
My Qualifications
Training completed with my Childminding Agency - includes:
Early Years Foundation Stage Framework including the 7 Areas of Learning & Development,
Safeguarding,
Food Hygiene and
Safe Sleep.
I have also completed a Full Paediatric First Aid Course.
My DBS check is available to view on meeting.
Ofsted registered with a childminding agency.
My Availability
I am open Monday to Thursday from 07:30-17:00 during term time. I am open during the half-terms and Summer but this care cannot be covered by funding.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Hourly rate with a packed lunch available at an additional cost.
I can accept childcare funding including tax-free childcare schemes.
