About Me
I'm a dedicated professional maternity nurse and nanny with a strong background in health and childcare, passionate about babies, and necessary skills to successfully care for babies and new mums ensuring babies growth in perfect health, safety of children and happiness while remaining in open communication with parents.Adept in providing optimal care to children as young as newborns to 10 years old and have worked with many families and baby homes. My Experience
I first worked in Uganda with Sanyu babies homes, volunteered in the UK for 1 year, then worked with different families for 9 years. I've cared for 2 premature babies, 2 circumcised babies, colicky babies, those with reflux, I put babies to both feeding and sleeping routines, care for both breastfeeding and bottle feeding babies or expressing, I do support mums with c-section in any support they require physically, emotionally and in mobility.
My Qualifications
A diploma in postnatal care/ non medical maternity nursing at NEST newborn.
Paediatric first aid from DAISY FIRST AID
Food and nutrition, home care, health and safety, infection control certificates (CPD CARE CERTIFICATES).
My Availability
I'm social and flexible with big and small families and I work according to the wishes and plans of the parents towards their babies, as long as the plans don't affect the baby. I also work with families on vacations.
