About Me
Hi, my name is Roxanne, I live with my fiancé Dan and our four wonderful children. Our children are 17, 9, 5 and 3. My older children attend local Secondary and Primary School and my youngest children attend local Pre School and Playgroup. I am a newly registered Ofsted Childminder, my house is child friendly and baby safe. I provide a caring, loving environment and offer a large free flow area for children to play and explore, i also have a large secured garden with lots of open space for all year round play and activities for children to thrive. I strive to encourage healthy eating and will work in partnership with parents on awareness of allergies/food groups and appropriate food for age and stage of development. I respect sleep times and routines and cater for each child's individual needs. I promote equal opportunities, anti-discrimination, and anti-bias practices for all children.
I have 17 + years experience of looking after my own children, I have been brought up in a childminding setting with my mother who lives in Basingstoke, my mum has been a childminder for 19 years and she has inspired me to work in childcare and to open up my own childcare setting. I have a seven seater car with full MOT and full service history records, I have a clean licence and childminder appropriate car and home insurance.
I offer drop offs and pick ups from Overton Primary School only.
My Experience
I have always enjoyed helping my mum at her setting , meeting the parents and experiencing some big milestones, one of which included helping a little girl to speak English by the time she started school reception year.
