Hey there!
I am a 27-year-old female from Aotearoa (New Zealand). I am a music therapist and yoga practitioner and have lots of experience with children. I play a variety of instruments and write songs. I grew up with two younger siblings in the South Island of New Zealand. I grew up on a farm surrounded by a lot of animals (cats, dogs, horses, pigs, chickens etc). I adore animals and children; I learn a lot from them and believe that learning should be reciprocal and playful. I'm moving to Bristol on a 2-year visa that entitles me to work - I came from my job as a music therapist working with young children who have sensory emotional physical and cognitive challenges. My plan for the future is to open up a therapy space with a holistic approach for people of all ages and with an emphasis on the creative arts and therapy. I look forward to connecting with you!
My Experience
I have experience as a support worker caring for young children with complex needs assisting with personal care, making lunches, going on outings in the car, bath time, dinner and bed time routines. I have also been working as a music therapist with young children for the last five years within the context of their classrooms and within their homes. I have been a babysitter and nanny in the past. I have experience with dog walking and house keeping.
