My Experience
Babysitter:
I have been babysitting for siblings, cousins and neighbourhood families for over 6 years now. I primarily care for children aged 2 – 12 years. My duties included meal preparation, organising activities, maintaining bedtime routines, completing household tasks such as cleaning and providing homework assistance. I maintained open communication with all parents to ensure their expectations and the children’s needs were met.
Teaching Assistant
I Have worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for almost 2 years, providing support in various schools with children ranging from 3 – 18. I am currently working at Rangefeild Nursery, where my responsibilities include assisting the classroom management, providing one to one support to special needs students, setting up and tidying classrooms. I have gained invaluable childcare experience within these roles!
Volunteer Work with Children
I Volunteered at a few different primary schools and play centres within My Aunts Acting workshop. Where we would help students express their creativity through a range of different activities and games. This allowed me to develop strong communication and a deep understanding of child development and behaviour management!
Tutor:
I have informally tutored peers and younger students over the course of my academic journey. I have a very strong background in Maths and English, as well as excelling in my GCSES and A – Levels! My approach is personalised, focusing on the needs and lack of each student. I prefer babysitting; however, I can be great to support educational needs!
My Qualifications
I hold 8 GCSEs with grades ranging from A to A*, as well as A-Levels with an A* in Politics, an A in History, and an A in Sociology. I also have an enhanced DBS check and am currently awaiting the completion of my First Aid training course.
