My Experience

I studied a vocational training program in early childhood education, which allowed me to start my professional career in my home country as a preschool teacher. I worked for four years with children aged 0 to 6, where I strengthened my knowledge and developed my teaching experience. During this time, I became familiar with various educational models, particularly Montessori and the constructivist approach.

I learned to design activities and create routines through play and hands-on materials, fostering spontaneous learning moments with teacher guidance. This experience helped me realize my deep passion for childcare, leading me to pursue a degree in psychology to further understand children’s behavior and expand my knowledge.

As a mother of two girls, I also learn daily from a personal perspective, which allows me to empathize with children’s routines and better understand their needs.

Infant care qualification from Colombia gained in 2013.
