About Me
My name is vicky i have been a nanny for roughly 25 years now, working with newborns too children in there teens. I love working with children as they give me so much joy and I love to have fun with them, but also educational play is a very important part of my care with them.
I have done babysitting and taken them to after school clubs etc. Cooked and cleaned for them and taken them out on regualar outings to the parks for picnics & play. Encourage homework, an love to discuss, things about nature, the planet, an all things that young children need to learn. It's so rewarding as I enjoy this So much myself. Lots of reading, drawing, outdoor play, while talking about nature outside.
I have 3 teenage boys of my own, so am looking to work full time now, as there off my hands most of the time. I also have two step sons, that i help care for when they are here to stay. I like to make sure each child i look after is happy and content. I myself am a very happy person, i always have a smile on my face I am currently leaving my family I work for, have been there almost a year. There youngest boy starts full time school, so I'm not needed so much now. An I have moved quite a bit away so am looking for more local work. I do not have a full membership. My Experience
My experience is a varied and a very wide range. As i said above it ranges from newborns to teens.
Im looking for a full time position.
I passed my childcare qualification at school, as i worked in nurseries etc as a volunteer. I enjoyed that so much...
Ive passed a st john ambulance childrens first aid course done health & safety & have a recent crb check for you too see.
I also have a few references that are checkcable with people i have worked for an who's children i have cared for.
My last employer, thinks I have done & amazing job with her children. That they sleep better, behave better. An are much calmer & happier children.
My Qualifications
I have passed my childcare O level A+
Also completed my st johns ambulance first aid for childrens course. I have completed my ofsted course also, just waiting on one last part, to register for a year, an I'm done !!!
