My Experience

I have worked as a nanny both day and live-in, have worked in Children's Social Services as a residential support worker and more recently worked as a higher level teaching assistant/cover supervisor in a primary school supporting both mainstream and SEN pupils. I have grown up with animals and am very outdoorsy and a qualified veterinary nurse. So when the saying is "Never work with children or animals" - I clearly didn't get the memo as I have always worked with one of the other both of which I love and since moving now work locally in a First School.

My Qualifications

I hold a full, clean driving licence, have worked as a Learning Support assistant in a Junior school with both mainstream and SEN children. I've also worked within Social Children's Services. I was also a School Governor in a small, village Primary School for 7 years.
Completed and passed all GCSE's, BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care, BA Hons Degree, professional QVN qualification and various CPD training including Team Teach, First Aid, Fire Marshal training to name a few. Since moving to Somerset I work in a local village First School and have a recent enhanced DBS certificate.

My Availability

I live rurally but am available for evening babysitting for any little people.
